Most recently business for AOP is almost out of control! :D
This will be short and sweet but here are some pictures from Halloween:
I will do a more detailed blog soon :) BUT I did want to add that we have been seriously concerned about Breadon and her speech, she has been going to speech therapy 3 days a week for 2 weeks and she has been doing AMAZING! She has been talking more than ever.
We have also had concerns with her hearing, thinking that all of her speech problems had stemmed from her ability to hear. When she was in the NICU they used many medications that could cause permanent hearing loss in children. She failed the hearing tests in the NICU she passed one and failed one in the hearing booth at the hospital. Today we took her to Methodist for a BAER test, which is very similar to the test in the NICU but when you are 2 they have to sedate you. I was NOT excited for that, but luckily it was a liquid and easy going down... not so easy getting her to sleep but she finally gave up and passed out! Anyway, we got lucky and the audiologist was there to read the test and told us she has PERFECT hearing :) I know that there are so many things that are so much worse than hearing loss but I am super relieved to know that we just need to practice more. A HUGE weight is lifted off of me, after thinking she was partially deaf for over a year now, I am glad its over and she is doing well.
Brienna is doing awesome, and they are both loving dance class. Like I said, more to come soon, Thanks for tuning in! XOXO
